We sometimes use this case for archiving your old hard drive from your PC laptop or MacBook/MacBook Pro computer, if we are upgrading or replacing the hard drive.
This case fits all standard 2.5" hard drives, PC or Mac, and connects to the USB port on another computer.
The case can be used to make a backup drive for your computer, but generally it is cheaper to buy one of our ready-made backup drives, which we can format for you if required.
